I know this might sound silly or some of you may think I'm crazy, but I'm really bothered by the fact my boyfriend has had sex with two other girls. Maybe it's because he was my first everything, [First time, first actual kiss from a boy, first serious boyfriend, etc.] and I'm just really bothered to hear about his sexual adventures with his exes. Well, just one...
His most recent ex-girlfriend gave me a lot of trouble and it often resulted with us screaming and yelling at each other, and occasionally hitting. It's safe to say that I don't like her all that much. I suppose I would have to explain: Y'see, he was dating her when we first started "talking" [A term commonly used in my area], at first we were just friends, then it got to where he told me he loved me. Although, it took him quite a while to break up with her, for me. [Yes, I'm one of those girls. Shoot me.]
He did eventually ask me out, and we have been together almost a year and two months [unrelated fact].
To shorten this story, it went like this after they broke up:
- Asked me out. <3
- Ex threatened to kill me.
- Ex and I stopped all communication to each other
- Honeymoon-ish phase
- Started talking about his past
- I did my best to understand
- He learned about me
- Ex and I tried to get along
- Didn't work out
- Ex is friends with my "if-y" friend
- "If-y" friend brings up their sexcapades.
I just really can't handle hearing about it. It makes me very upset. I know that I'm not jealous of hearing about his first girlfriend he had sex with since she's dead [Yes, I'm an AWFUL person, I know.] I just hate hearing about that one girl. Maybe it's because she seems a lot more fun than me.
Anyway! Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone have any ideas to help me get over this?
