copyright.

i don't understand.

i'm not totally stupid. i know what a copyright is and all that, but...

okay. my stories are only on fictionpress right now, and i just got a message from someone asking me to sell her the copyright to one of my stories

what does he/she mean by that, though? does that mean they want to use it as their own? i'm not mad they're asking, i just don't know what it means. it's better than plagiarism. but like... i don't get it.

i'm not dumb, i'm just... a writer. i don't bother to find out what those terms mean.
