what do you think about this?

In Drama class we watched Romeo and Juliet. I LOVED it. But at the same time I couldn't understand a lot of the words :/ So I was wondering about a story, a modernized Romeo and Juliet! I'm not gonna take all of the credit for the story, Will Shakespeare is the genius who wrote it, I just want to modernize it, make it so people from the 21st century can relate to it.

So what do you think? Shale I go for it? I think I should. Would any of you guys read it?
