Interesting week...

Thus far this week I

Went to a sick music camp at UC Berkeley called Power Chord Academy where we had a sick song and combined NWA's "Express Yourself" and the Spice Girls "Wannabe" into one song for a side project. It was the spiffiest thing ever.

Recorded our song that reminded us of Hawaiian pirates eating at Johnny Rockets.

Made a music video.

Had the coolest band name ever: So-crates. If you've seen Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure you know what I mean.

Had the coolest counselor ever at PCA.

Went to Rudy's (Mike Dirnt's cafe) saw Mikey (One of the waiter friends of mine I guess) having him tell my friend and I about this whole story of Mike and him wanting to get an original tattoo and how Green Day has been in the studio non-stop to work on the album.

Got scared shitless by the earthquake at 4 in the morning. Anyone else that lives in the Bay Area feel that?

Found Green Day's "Warning" and The Briefs "Sex Objects" on vinyl on Telegraph

Sex Tape Scandal recorded new stuff.

Also Tuesday night Mom, friend, and I are going to try to get into the Smashing Pumpkins show in San Francisco at the Filmore.
