Korn and Nirvana bashed in a book...

First day of school. There was this girl. I was rambling on about unicorns (cause they're so friggin cool). And then she said unicorns were evil. And I asked why. And she said "No they're not, But the band KORN is!!!"
I told her that I happened to like that band. She said to me, "Well, GOOD PEOPLE SHOULDN'T LISTEN TO THAT BAND! ARE YOU A GOOD PERSON, ASHLEY?!"

And I found out why my mom hates rock. I found this book in the garage, "The TRUTH About Rock." The summary read something like, "Too many people treat rock as an innocent stage of growing up. But the violent themes in popular rock songs, make it clear that rock is NOT innocent." I looked through the book. They bashed Korn and Nirvana, saying they are not right for a "Good, healthy, Christian child."
Arghh..I want to throw something at the wall right now.
