Why is it that....

why is it that when stories are fanfics loads of people read them and comment but when they arent they dont?

I have written 2 stories that are fanfics and they have loads of comments.

I have 3 stories that arent and they have none.

I worked really hard on a story called 'Just an act of fate' and there are no comments.

I've got a good story line for my new story called 'Everything Changes' and I bet no one will comment.....
