We all know the difference between the two. Yet, it's such a big subject. Some people like FanFiction better, and some people like Original Fiction better. The problem is trying to appeal to both audiences.
Yes, I have done FanFiction. And up until now, that's all I have done. It was easy and simple. But then I decided to take my shot at an Original Fiction. I put hours into my original sttory and what do I get? A few readers.
I mean doesn't it piss you off that more people will read FanFiction rather than something completely original?
Don't get me wrong, I know a lot og the original stories out there, aren't the greatest. But it still sucks that even the good stories get bundled up in their bad name.
All I'm saying , is that I'm irritated and disappointed.
