For serial.

I'm starting to get annoyed with people thinking they know everything about the Catholic Church just because they read something online or see something on TV.

We're not all the fucking same, and there's obviously radicals, just like there are in any religion or group of people with beliefs.

1- We accept gays and are supposed to treat them like brothers and sisters. It's in the book the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which is the basics of being a Catholic.

2- We do believe abortion is morally wrong. It's killing a human life. Yet, especially in America, most Catholics have used/do use contraception.

3- We are Christian. Just because we pray to angels sometimes, because God has more things to do than deal with our problems sometimes, doesn't make us not Christian. We were the original church, people. Come on. We believe in the one true God. Just like you do.

4- We don't believe that everyone who isn't Catholic is going to hell. We don't believe that if you commit one sin you're going to hell. Repent and you shall be forgiven, yes?

Whew. That was a lot of pent up anger...
