Love The One You're With

As said by Stephen Stills: If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with.

But it's a lot easier sang than done.
I'm sorry and I'm trying. But, I'm in love with someone, and it's not you...Don't get me wrong, I like you A LOT. You are so sweet to me. You treat me perfectly and I honestly wish I had met you earlier. But I met you after him...I can't be with him because the world is keeping us apart. Miles of concrete roads that we can't cross. But that hasn't stopped my heart. It belongs to him. That's why I die a little every time I see you. You tell me you can see yourself loving me and I can see myself loving you. But I know I can't...I'm trying! I care about you and want you to be my love. But everytime I think of any means of romance or love, I feel his arms around me, and not your's...It kills me everytime I think about it. You've given to me what I don't know if I can give to you. I love him, and probably always will.
But since I can't be with the one I love, I'll learn to love the one I'm with.
