I just wrote something I'm really proud of

I'm obviously proud whenever I write something, but what I just wrote felt completely different to everything else. I'm use to writing chapters that are around 2000 words, but what I just wrote was only 741. Usually, I'd be disapointed by writing something that short, but I actually really really like it.

I can't even explain.

There's stories on here that are really different to everything else and I always wanted to write something that was different to what I'm used to. I think I've managed to do that now. It's just an introduction chapter and I'll probably end up going back into my usual style for the rest of it, but I'm proud that I managed to write it.

Usually I really over plan stories, but with this one, I think I might just write and see where it takes me. For some reason I feel more comfortable doing that for this story.
