Is this horrible?
I want to live in a trailer, in a not perfect side of town (well, usually trailer parks aren't in the best part of town), alone, with my cat and a dog. And I want to go for runs at night, and I'll put Christmas lights up in my trailer, and I won't be afraid. I won't keep anything valuable there, or on my person, and I'll have a small pocket knife and maybe pepper spray, just in case. But I have complete faith that I will not get hurt.
I have complete (probably misguided) faith in humanity. I'm probably naive to the point of stupidity, but this is what I want.
