Looking at different types of Contraception and really don't know which is best...

So I've been with my boyfriend 2 months and we're really getting sick of using condoms, plus we think he's allergic to certain makes... so I've said I'll go on a type of contraception... I used to be on the pill, but I'm really forgetful and I used to always forget it so I want something basically that I don't need to remember to do or take.

I've been looking at the implant and also the injection, but I'm kinda scared of having them. I'm not a huge fan of needles and the thought of having something in my arm or having something pricked into me every 3 months doesn't sound so good...

Any suggestions would be grateful and if anyone knows more information about these or have been on them before I'd take any advice! :)
