Things Authors Should Know

Not to be mean or anything but...

1) When one of the characters growls when their mad, I'm pretty sure everyone envisions some type of dog growling and barking. At least that's what comes to my mind, suddenly the character turns into a vicious rabid growling dog. >,>

2) If your story is not a fan-fiction of some band, then I honestly don't care, and find it annoying when the author makes a point to mention if their character is in fact wearing a specific band t-shirt.

3)Sequels. There is and isn't a time for sequels. Just because your fans want a sequel doesn't mean you have to write a sequel.

4) If you're going to write a story please finish it. It's very annoying when an author quits the story 2/3 of the way in.

5) Neon colored layouts make me blind and unhappy.
