Wanting To Dressing Like A Tomboy

Have anyone else felt like they wanted to dress like a tomboy or are more comfortable dressing like a boy? Trust me I have, but I can't. The nearest I got to dressing like a tomboy is sweats and a t-shirt, or basketball shorts and a shirt. Every time I tell my mom the kind of clothes I want to wear she gives me the weirdest look like, "You got to be kidding me?" And then she gives me the whole act like a girl speech. Then you feel confused because all of your childhood you were told to "be who you want to be and don't let anyone stop you." I like to dress like a tomboy because that is what is comfortable to me. When I wear those clothes I feel like myself, and when I wear clothes I don't like it feels like I'm in a shell. That's why I can't wait till i'm 18 because that's the only time I think my mom will accept me. It's not just my mom either, it's also my cousins and aunts. Well mostly only two of them, because they are so girly/preppy. Anyways, I'm just going to stop because I know no one will read this. I just need to get some things off of my mind. Might write another little blog before I go to bed. :D
