University tip 1

Tip 1: Do your research.

When choosing your Uni and course, Really think about what it is you want to do when you leave and whether the courses you've applied for are going to supply you with the skills you need to acheive that. Look at what modules they will be teaching and really ask yourself if it is what you want.

I know at least 5 people who have changed course in their first year at my University because they have either decided that the course wasn't for them (probably haven't done their research!) or they've suddenly decided that they want to persue a completelly different career.

Always remember that at University, you are paying for that education so you should make sure you're really getting the best out of it.

Also, never be scared to go a bit further from home. You never know, you may love the freedom that it brings and you might find a much more suitable course than at Universities closer to home.

What I'm saying is; choose the University that has the most suited course and the right facilities to help you succeed.
