Need Modivation for a story.

Soooo I've had this idea for a story for a while. I want opinions

Its a story about a girl, who is diagnosed with a fatal disease. It is incurable but it could take a long time to actually kill her, but in the process of the disease her body is shutting down, she loses hair, gets pale, brittle bones, and loses a lot of weight. One day while in class the girl faints and when she wakes up she is in a different world. The world is colorful and incredibly bright the people and creatures there have beautiful coloring. The girl is discovered in the world and is known immediately as something other in the small poverty stricken town she lands in. She takes shelter in the home of a fisherman and stays in his cabin for the night, but when she fals asleep she wakes up in her own world. Every time She falls asleep she switches worlds. She begins to lose track of which world is real and which is the real dream.

I'm wondering does this sound interesting to anyone? A good fan response helps me a lot with my writing so this story i want to be able get a good response early on.
