My Current Thoughts on Gay Marriage. // Christian Bale.

I'm a Christian, and for years I have said I'm against gay marriage simply because of that. I'm not saying I am changing my views on biblical principles, but....

I just don't think I can stand against something that has nothing to do with me anymore. I mean, atheists are allowed to get married.... So let's face it, marriage isn't considered a strictly Christian practice, so the idea of pushing an ideal onto such a broad group of people isn't productive to anyone.

I am in no means saying I'm going to crusade for anything -- though I have never been one to crusade against something either -- but I feel like maybe I'm feeling a pull to becoming more understanding. I know that I would hate for someone to tell me I couldn't marry the person I love because they believed it was wrong, so why should I do that to others? It's unfair and won't help anyone.

I really don't know what made me post this, but I just wanted to say it.

I'm not here to start a debate, but I'd love to hear your opinions on the subject.

(Is this post too short?) In case it is, let me gush on how beautiful Christian Bale is. I have found that I bounce around on my Hollywood crushes a LOT.... and he is my latest victim. I feel like such a fan girl....
