Between Inflation and Edits (For Closer, Darling)

So I've read over my Eames and Arthur story Closer, Darling several times, and I'm just still so eh about it. I feel like I could have done so much more with the idea that I had in my head. I'm glad those who have commented have deemed it wonderful and the feedback makes me very happy, but I'm feeling like a wounded mouse here. So I've made a decision to either write it over completely or create a full story out of it, chapters and all.

I like involving you humans that enjoy my work, so I'm making this post to ask you your opinion. Would you rather it stay a short story and just get a makeover, or would you prefer to see where I can take this with more chapters? Even if you aren't familiar with Inception or the pairing, I would love it if you read over the story and told me your opinion as a reader and writer. Those comments would be just as valuable as anything else. The more opinions I have and the wider amount of the spectrum they cover, the better.
