This is my first blog but I felt like I needed to write something about Him - Mitch Lucker- to release the emotions that have been building up all day. I am living my life, at school right now while Mitch's bandmates, wife, friends, family and most importantly, his beautiful daughter, Kenadee mourn over a friend, husband, loved one... Father.
All of his fans mourn too.
A wonderful, inspirational, and talented musician died yesterday. He was only twenty eight. So young.
Mitch said it best though!
You only live one life, for a very short time. So make every second divine.
He did only live a very short time and in this time he was loved by so many. He could be a caring father and he could also GO FUCKING NUTS!
The music world will not be the same. Suicide Silence fans will never be the same.
This taught us that the amazing musicians we look up to most in bands are not immortal. They can die too. It throws a little reality into our lives.
Mitch Lucker will be missed and there was - and never will be - anyone like him. He may be gone but he will not be forgotten. The dead lives. Mitch lives if not in body but in our minds and hearts.
Remember, every time you hear thunder it's Mitch starting a mosh pit in heaven! He's singing with the angels now.
Rest in Peace, Mitch! We miss you so much!
