Procrastination = Writing Memes

Link to the original posting I found. It's an awesome blog.

What’s the last thing you wrote?
In the world of fiction, I added a little to Selflessness.

Was it any good?
I thought it was pretty entertaining. That's usually a good sign.

What’s the first thing you wrote that you still have?
The original hand-written copy of As The Sister of Harry Potter. It's terrible xD

Write poetry?
Sometimes. I don't think I've very good at it though.

Angsty poetry?
Who doesn't?

Favourite genre of writing?
Political things/sci-fi/fantasy/whatthefuck fics

Most fun character you’ve ever created?
If by fun you mean fun to write, Sarlanda Malfoy. But actually fun... probably Ophilia McLaggen.

Most annoying character you’ve ever created?
Rachel in Music Girl. I hate her so.

Best plot you’ve ever created?
I would say the entire concept of Vampire's Mistresses, so then the plot that evolved from that.

Coolest plot twist you’ve ever created?
The ending of Selflessness will hopefully be something people didn't see coming. I think xD

How often do you get writer’s block?
E'ry day xD But really, all the fucking time.

Write fan fiction?
See the answer above.

Do you type or write by hand?
Lately, I plan by hand, but actually do the writing on my computer.

Do you save everything you write?
Yes, because I got rid of some of the stuff from my early days and I deeply regret it.

Do you ever go back to an idea after you’ve abandoned it?
Sometimes. I typically rework stuff if I've abandoned it, but some things are better left dead.

What’s your favourite thing you’ve written?
I have to say Crumbling Pyramid. It's so funny and nerdy and character-y but also kind of bittersweet and it's pretty in my head. I love it, and there's really not a thing I would change about it.

What’s everyone else’s favourite story that you’ve written?
A lot of people love As The Sister of Harry Potter/The Last Fight and Reading Between the Lines.

Do you ever show people your work?
Well, I post online, so... I was also president of my high school writing club, so I was the main sharer xD I really am not afraid of sharing my work, with some discretion.

Did you ever write a novel?
I have three novel-length stories finished and am working on four more.

Ever written romance or angsty teen drama?
All the time xD It's the best to write about, besides fucked-up politics.

What’s your favourite setting for your characters?
Hogwarts is always the best place for everything.

How many writing projects are you working on right now?
Far too many ::shifty:
But really, it's like 9 or 11 or something ridiculous like that.

Do you want to write for a living?
I'd like to continue writing throughout my life. If I get published, fabulous. Right now, being a professional author is my backup plan in life. Not a very good backup plan, yeah, but it's a plan.

Have you ever won an award for your writing?
Not really. I won NaNo twice and I've got a book in my school's library. That's it.

Ever written anything in script or play format?
I wrote a scene for a project once xD I have an idea for a musical/opera/stage thing, but I kind of suck and writing scripts.

What are your five favourite words?
Accost
Sardonic
Myriad
Blasphemy
Spectacular

Do you ever write based on yourself?
Yes - I base some character traits off myself, or sometimes small plot points.

What character have you created that is most like yourself?
Jennifer Potter. She is what I wanted to be when I was little.

Where do you get ideas for your characters?
They just kind of make themselves at home in my head. It's like they move in, rather than are born.

Do you ever write based on your dreams?
Sometimes. I have really vivid and weird dreams, so more fantasy elements come from dreams than anything else.

Do you favour happy endings, sad endings or cliff-hangers?
Bittersweet is usually the boat I float, but sometimes I'll give my characters happy endings if they deserve it.

Have you ever written based on an artwork you’ve seen?
Not yet, but I'm sure that will happen one day.

Are you concerned with spelling and grammar as you write?
More spelling than grammar, but I try and keep things as accurate as I can. I mean, editing exists for a reason.

Ever write anything in chatspeak (how r u?)
Very rarely when I write texts or chat logs.

Entirely in L337?
Fuck that.

Was that question appalling and unwriterly?
A bit.

Does music help you write?
Yes. It helps me concentrate, puts me in the mood, and I find music to be very inspirational.

Quote something you’ve written. Whatever pops into your head.
"BATMAN/ROBIN IS THE MOST CANON GAY PAIRING EVER!"
