Smile Kid

I try to smile at every stranger I see. You never know what that smile can mean to someone. It could make their day, maybe even their entire week. Some people just need to see a smile to know that they are going to be okay.

You may think that I'm crazy for thinking that a simple facial expression could affect someone so much, but think about it. If someone gives you an angry look you, you may get upset. When someone sneers at you do you feel like you did something wrong?

Now think about what happens when a stranger smiles. Do you feel better that someone is able to give you a friendly expression? Maybe you don't, but you never know who a smile will affect.

So here is my challenge to you. Next time you see a stranger, it doesn't matter if they look upset or not, just smile. One quick smile.
