Changing story layouts?

I really need to know how to change the story layout for my story called "He Never Knew" It looks so.. bland and gross. On my first story, I have a different background and I have no idea on how I actually did it. I changed it before they updated to this new Mibba, and no I have absolutely no idea how to make it look good.

Also, I would like the background to be a repeating image, not just a solid color.

Could someone message me and tell me how to change the colors and what not to my story?
