It's kind of funny

You know? It's kind of funny how love can make a change in us, how we can act so different from we normally do, also how we get up so filled with these hopes of getting married with him or her, of always sharing big and strong feelings, hoping it will be... forever. Or even, how we believe that this special someone will never do wrong, will never hurt you and leave you behind. How we expect just the best of this person, how love makes us think that this person is the best thing in the entire world. But then, you come to realize that nothing was like you thought it was. In fact, everything is completely the opposite. Just different. You start to see who this person really is, what his or her real intentions were since the beggining, and obviously you get upset, because you get to see how everything really is, that's when you get brokenhearted. You started wondering how could you be so stupid, how couldn't you realize earlier, how could you be so clueless? But the answer is clear. It was all love. Simple and stupid love. After you realize it, you promise yourself that you will never love again, but then there you go, making the same stupid mistake as the last time, there you are giving out your heart, giving yourself completely, giving your everything once again and getting in return a broken heart once again. It's kind of funny how love can be so painful, but we keep looking for it. It's kind of funny how we are addicted this pain.
