The explosion is West, Texas on Wednesday hit very close to home and for many people I know it hit closer than they could imagine. I have been posting on my tumblr blog all day that if you live within 100 miles of Waco/West, TX please go donate whenever you can, the sooner the better. Donating blood is a wonderful act in general because hospitals always need blood for victims and patients.
Also, if you are in Texas, victims of West need blankets, food, and many other supplies so if you can please please donate.
I know a lot of people cannot donate and that is understandable, but if you still want to help the best help you can ever give anyone especially in these situations, is prayer. Please pray for the victims not only in West but also in Boston too.
