9 JashinistExperience - My Personal Mission

I've realized today that I'm not going to have a lot to write about in these journals everyday related to Jashinism. This means Jashin won't be a big part of my life every single day. To remedy this, I've decided that whenever I'll have nothing substantial to write about, I'll meditate and tell you about it. This can give others ideas of what to think about when they are meditating.

When I closed my eyes and started meditating, I pictures myself sitting in a completely white space. I tried to give Jashin a physical form, but I could not come up with what Jashin might look like since Jashin is not restricted to any form or gender. I decided to imagine him as the air around me - a nice cool air.

I spoke to the air, telling it about my future. I am going to university for East Asian Studies. I intend to learn Japanese and Korean to work as an interpreter for the United Nations. Now that I am Jashinist, I have a new mission. I'm still going to learn Japanese and Korean to become an interpreter, but as a side journey I will travel to Japan and find the book Inshi No Jashin then translate it so all English-speaking Jashinists will know everything about Jashinism and not have to rely on the internet to try and find accurate information on Jashinism. Even when if I go to Japan and my vocabulary is unable to translate the pages, I'll take pictures of the pages and translate them when I am able to.

In the white space, I spoke out loud to Jashin, asking if he would help me accomplish my personal mission. I didn't hear a voice, but a beautiful breeze came out of nowhere and blew through me. I took that as a sign from Jashin that he would.

The whole thing lasted about seven minutes. If I'm correct, my first one only lasted four minutes. That's actually really great for me. I've tried meditating in the past pre-Jashinism, but I always got distracted and it wouldn't last two minutes. It's possibly easier now because I have Jashin to focus on.
