mibba layouts || i won't read something if they're too bright

Okay, so I know most people aren't artistically gifted and yada yada can't be bothered to create their own layout, but just to be clear, BRIGHT COLOURS AND ILLUMINATED FONT WITH A BLINDING BACKGROUND ISN'T A LAYOUT. IT IS AN EYE TEST. DO YOU WANT US TO GO BLIND?

I admit I am a very picky person. I will read a story if it has a PROPER LAYOUT with maybe a banner that isn't too UGLY AKA SLAPPED TOGETHER ON PICMONKEY or just some nice picture they found on Google Images. As long as it's not minging and makes me want to barf my breakfast all over their summary.

Also, GRAMMAR. Yeah, some people don't have English as their first language and I get that, but then we have the illiterate people where their summary is like this (not even telling lies);
