"It's a Girl Thing." How About you Mind your Business?

So, about two days ago I went to the hospital for an after-surgery check up. They, of course, checked my weight. That sadly is where my pride and self esteem gets slaughtered.

If you know anything about me, you'd know I have horrible weight insecurities. They suck, I know. But do you know something else? When my dad says "it's a girl thing" when I freak out about it, it hurts. I gained -cringes- seven pounds, which might not seem a lot, but hey, I've been walking around a lot BUT I STILl GAIN WEIGHT. WHY UNIVERSE, WHY?!

Anyway, so yeah. Dad, although you'll never read this, SHUSH. I can't help that I freak out over my weight, and it isn't a girl thing.

Anyway, I've been kinda (like majorly) depressed about this and seriously have been thinking about limiting myself to one meal a day. It's kinda horrible, though, and I'd rather not be labeled as anorexic.

Whatever. Anyway, being self conscious about you're weight isn't a girl thing, it's a human thing.
