Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

As if there were any more challenges that relationships have to go through in today's society

with people being unfaithful, lying, and not communicating with each other. Put distance in that

mix and there is how my relationship ended. People who say dating you're best friend is the best, no

that is not always true.

I started dating my best friend on and off throughout high school untill he finally found

someone permanent. That right there basically ripped my heart into peices. A few years later, going

through my first year of college and his first year in the army was difficult. We talked on and off for

the first few months and then the business of school, swimming, and the army got in the way.

We eventually started dating again untill days ago, where he cheated. To me this shows that

you have to trust someone completely before you begin to date them again. Distance has always

sucked and now i know why... He said he didnt trust that I was being faithful, which is not the case.

Along with losing my boyfriend, I lost my best friend and love of my life for the past ten years.

Remember when being in a relationship: communication, trust, and loyalty go a long way.

Never underestimate someone's affections towards you and always tell them how much they mean

to you. Love will happen on its own time, and when things like this happens, know that God is

testiing you. He is finding the right guys while you go through the ones that make you stronger and
