Well That Didn't Go As Planned.

So today I went to work. I work at a pool in the concession stand and sometimes the lifeguards come down and get food or whatever when they're on their breaks, including this one lifeguard who's my favorite. I kind of have a crush on him, but I am so bad at talking to him it's not even funny.

Anyway! Today he came to the stand to get a drink and I just happened to be on register but we were really busy, so there were a bunch of kids in line in front of this guy. He got really impatient with the kid directly in front of him because when it came to be his turn he couldn't decide what flavor slushy he wanted. When it came to be the lifeguard's turn he made a really funny remark about how he wanted to punch some of these kids and I laughed.

Now I meant to laugh like this:

You know, cute and normal and stuff?

But instead it came out like:


To which he replied with:

"I'd like a Gatorade, please."

And I was like:

"$1.50, please."

Gosh I was just so embarrassed! I never want to be on register again.
