Before I Get Too Carried Away (a little about me)

I suppose before I get too carried away with this whole blogging concept (something which is much easier on Mibba than, say, Blogger), I should probably do a little introduction. Do people do that? ...I'm not really sure... but I'm going to!

Alrighty, so this fall will be sophomore year at a college way up in da northwoods of Wisconsin. It's my home away from home, right on Lake Superior. About as far north as you can get before hitting Canada, eh? I absolutely adore my school, even though it is pretty small--at about 600 students, it's pretty tiny. Speaking of college, I am a business major hoping to specialize in marketing and go on and represent a professional sports team or a human rights group (and yes, I realize those are completely different).

My parents were in the Peace Corps about 20 years ago, stationed in Swaziland, Africa. I hope to one day follow in their footsteps and volunteer in Africa as well! I'm known for talking a LOT, and have been gifted with the nickname "Sassy" pretty much where ever I go...

Erm... I apologize if I'm boring you right off the bat! I'm a HUGE fan of hockey and baseball (the Blackhawks & Twins are my teams!). I'm also an avid photographer, shooting mostly sports for my college and my hometown. I'm a huge herd, too, I love Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Sherlock, Lord of the Rings... I'll read pretty much anything. I'm always up to read people's stories or answer questions--I'm pretty open about anything/everything.

I promise the rest of these posts will be much more entertaining than this one!
