top 10 favourite books: #2 North of Beautiful (Justina Chen Headley)

At #2 is a really feel-good book. The story follows Terra, a budding artist ans entrepreneur. The only thing stopping her from going to arts college and achieving her dreams is the port-wine stain which covers half a face. One winters day her and her mother accidentally meet goth kid Jacob and his quirky, jet-setting mother Norah. They become friends and shortly go to china together. This is an eye opener for Terra who realises that beauty is not just skin deep.
My description is bad because i simply cannot find words that highlight this book enough. But seriously, you should buy it because it is beautifully written and really enchanting. 10/10
