Internet Relationships, Yay or Nay?

Alrighty, so I'm writing this because Wattpad is down -_- this is the 3rd time this week. Oh well. So, on Wattpad, I was scrolling through the forums as I was bored as hell, when I came across a thread that was titled "Are there any BOYS on Wattpad?". Curious, I clicked on it. The person who made the thread said this:

"So, I've noticed that there aren't much boys on here. And I really need some guy friends. Talk to me?;)"

And then I threw up. Haha I'm kidding, but honestly, the rest of the thread was just her flirting with a bunch of guys. I was even more disgusted by the fact that she was only 13 and the guys she was talking to were 16 and up. I was gagging. And then what happened? She ended up starting an internet relationship. Wise move, Miss 16 and Pregnant.
I mean, yeah I'm talking to a few guys my age on there, but the most I'm looking for is a friend. And if I did start a cyber relationship, I would definitely take it seriously and made sure we met up. No matter how far we are away from each other.
