My music taste has been changing. I've gone from listening to only metal, metal core, hardcore, basically any sub-genre that ends with "core," to listening to bands that focus on lyrics and mastering the art of songwriting (for example, Death Cab for Cutie, Oasis, Mumford and Sons, etc.). I haven't stopped listening to AFI, though.
I just really enjoy their music. I can't wait for their new album, and tour. In fact the day they come to play at my town is the day the album is released. Let's see if I can convince my dad into letting me go!
But if you enjoy AFI and might want to read an AFI fan fiction, would anyone want to read my story Sauveur? It's a one shot about Davey. I can't really categorize it under a genre, but it's not exactly happy nor is it depressing. I guess you can make that call on yourself if you read it.
