I'm bored. So I've been bouncing around the idea of hosting a contest for my lovely readers (& anyone else interested) to enter. I've been feeling rather un-inspired lately and have been looking for ways to get my creative juices flowing again.
The question would be... Would any of you enter? And what type of contest would you most be likely to enter? Prompts? Anything goes?
I'm thinking I'd do what I like to do best... A pretty much anything goes contest, based off SONG LYRICS. I tend to use the music I love to inspire me, so what I'm leaning towards is throwing together a list of songs, and having you guys pick a song, a guy and write me a story. **EDIT** I should mention, that it would most likely be an AVENGED SEVENFOLD contest, as that's where my interest generally is, though I could possibly be convinced to do a second one later on for other fandoms or orginal fics if there's enough interest in it.
What do you think? Would any of you be interested in entering a contest hosted by me?
I'm currently addicted to the TV show Nashville. It's got some amazing songs on it.
