I have to give a speech on Tuesday for my speech class, and I haven't even started it. I really, really don't want to do it. I hate public speaking. Ugh.
I originally was going to do it on melanoma, the cancer that my mom died of, but I'm not sure how well I'm going to do with talking about it. So my friend suggested I just talk about Lord of the Rings stuff, like the mythology behind it or the differences between the movies/books. My speech has to be informative, so I'm not sure how well that kind of topic will work. I'm just, ugh.
I think I'll just suck it up and stick with melanoma, since finding resources for that are relatively easy. I have two more speeches to give this semester, too. I have to give a persuasive and a demonstration speech. I think I'm going to do my persuasive speech on wearing sunscreen, or maybe even why Lord of the Rings is such an important series. My demonstration may be something boring, like cleaning makeup brushes, lol. Unless I can think of something more exciting. Not sure.
