New school, with no walls.

Has anyone heard of Connections Academy? Yes? No? If yes, then that's where I'll be going this year. If you haven't heard of it, then it's a public home-schooling setup. You get to work at your own pace. (Which is why most advanced students look into it. But I've never thougt of myself as advanced.)
Anyway, you get to go on field trips with local public schools and work with other Connections students. And the best part of it is... *drumroll* You can do it all online! They will even send you a laptop computer!!

How can it get better? No getting picked on... No overly-strict teachers... No labeling... No 'what the heck is in this mess?' cafeteria food...

I can't wait!

But, on the flip side... no seeing your friends everyday... no joining really cool school clubs... seeing you parents during school... *gulp*

That's a BIG sacrifice, isn't it?

Hmm, maybe I should write an article on the pro's and con's of homeschooling. (And pro's/con's of regular schooling. And the pro's and con's of Connections Academy.)

What do you guys think? Public or homeschooling? Help me with a verdict.
