Oh My Gosh, My Hair Needs an Oil Treatment

So I felt the back of my head a few minutes ago, and the hair felt so scraggly and dry. Like, to a normal person, it would be okay, I guess, but I enjoy my hair being like, baby butt soft, you know? I normally put pure, organic coconut oil in it, but I haven't done that in a long time. I guess it's time for me to do it again?

Do any of you other Mibbians do like, treatments on your hair? Avocado/egg? Mayo and olive oil? I used to put warm extra virgin olive oil in my hair (root to tip) for like, an hour every other day. I stopped that after a few weeks because the results weren't long-lasting. My hair would feel soft and the ends would be tamed, but the next day it would go back to being the same.

Now I use coconut oil. Like, holy crap, guys, that stuff's amazing. My hair was really damaged on the ends because I used to straighten it so much, and since I straightened it so much, it like, stretched my natural curls out. Then I decided to try coconut oil because my mom had some she used on her skin. I never though about going back to olive oil again.

It made my hair so soft, omg. And like, the ends were tamed and I was finally able to see what needed to be cut off. I also noticed my hair started growing faster. Maybe it's my imagination, I don't know. I'm pretty sure my hair grew about two inches from it, though. No lie. It's also starting to bring my curls back, which I'm very happy about. I spent so long straightening my hair because I hated my curly hair, and then when I lost my beautiful curls, I instantly regretted it. ALSO, my hair is crazy thick now.

Coconut oil is the shizz, yo.
