with most of these artists I'd have trouble telling you but I know the first song I ever heard by Awolnation is definitely Sail, probably the same for everyone else too.

Oh gosh um either I Think Ur A Contra or Step.

What impact has 1 had on your life?
opened my eyes (ears? idk) to a whole different genre of music, I guess. also taught me not to dismiss songs just because they're a little different.

How many times have you seen 4 live?
no times but I'd love to see her live because she's absolutely enchanting.

Devil's Backbone and no it's not because it's the frostironiest of frostiron songs shh

oh my god don't even get me started. Otherside. there's this one bit that always gets me where he says "I've seen oxycontin take three lives", cos when they perform it live he says "four lives" and just UGH. also Starting Over because. just. Macklemore bb. :c

When did you get into 2?
must have been around 2007ish? my friend put a couple of their songs on my ipod and I didn't realise and they came up on shuffle and I was like, "THIS MUSIC... I LIKE IT..." then I dramatically smashed my ipod and yelled, "ANOTHER!"

How did you get into 3?
everyone was like "have you heard Thrift Shop?" and so on and so forth.

Love You Better because it's so painfully gOOD

listening to her second album Aventine for the first time while it was raining outside.

the same friend that got me into Editors. curse him and his good taste in music.

What do you like best about 7's music?
watching them live. watching them play against each other and listening to the way they harmonise and just wHY ARE THEY ARGUING THEY'RE PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER

Why does 3 appeal to you?
because, and I'm going to sound totally clichéd here, Macklemore is REAL. he raps about REAL ISSUES and it's KIND OF ALARMING and also VERY VERY EFFECTIVE. if you're not a fan of rap, seriously, try Otherside. it grows on you, because it's so tragically sad.
