So I wasn't going to but at the last minute (seriously, thirty minutes ago) decided to sign up for NaNoWriMo. We'll see how this goes. Hehe. I was going to do NaNo last year, too, but just kind of went "mehhh" about two days in so seriously, wish me luck.
Originally I wasn't going to because I wanted to have a completely original idea but was having trouble coming up with anything. Then I was like, you know what? I already have a pretty original idea. So you know what I'm going to write?
I'll finally finish Serenade!
I mean, sure I'm already 978 words in but that's nothing compared to how long I want it to be when I'm finished. And sure I'm super busy with school but I still have enough free time to write around 2000 words a day, I think. So I'm going to use my mini-head start to rework my plot, maybe get a fab playlist put together, then if I still have time, I'll try to crack out another 1000 words. If not, I can always write a big chuck tomorrow because it's Saturday.
So yeah, wish me luck guys even though I'm way behind. And if any of yall have taken a peak at Serenade already, feel free to shoot me ideas or give me some feedback on the prologue. I really want to finish at least the first installment of this series finally (or, you know, just start writing again in general) so I think NaNo will be a great incentive to do so.
