Am I a horrible person?

Okay, it's 9am (Australian EST) and I've had crap all sleep due to having to play taxi driver since 5am, so I apologise if this makes little to no sense... Hahaha.

I just cleaned out my subscription list. It went from 4 pages to just over 1. Most were stories that haven't been updated in over a year, or that I was reading at one stage, but I've found that I don't really care for it anymore...

Does anyone else ever feel compelled to keep reading a story because you've previously left comments (relatively decent ones) and so you know the author will notice you stopped reading if you don't? I do. And sometimes I honestly feel bad, because I will have commented on a story for a while, because it started off well, but then as it's gone on I've found myself feeling as though it's chore to continue to read it.

Even though I feel bad, I deleted a bunch of subscriptions to stories like that. A lot of them haven't been updated in months, but there were chapters I hadn't caught up on that I just wasn't interested in. I've been MIA when it comes to reading stories lately and I think part of the reason was because I felt obligated to catch up on these stories I honestly wasn't very into and I felt like I couldn't just catch up on the ones I really enjoyed, so I avoided it all entirely.

Am I horrible person for just deleting these stories? I mean, I honestly didn't want to offend the authors and I feel like if I told them "hey, I just really didn't particularly like your story anymore, so that's why I'm not gonna read it" was just unnecessarily cruel. But I also feel like saying nothing might be worse. Argh!

Enough jibber jabber.

Since I've cleaned out my sub list, I need some new stories to fill it with.

At the moment, I'm in the mood for some romantic comedy kind stuff; high school period preferably.

My criteria is:

Avenged Sevenfold Fan-Fiction OR Original Fiction only
No slash, just not my cup of tea
No paranormal stuff e.g vampires, werewolves etc.
No kidnapping/bondage/slave stories

I don't normally have a problem with paranormal or kidnapping/bondage stories, but I'm just not in the mood for those kinds at the moment. I want some light hearted, cheesy stuff! I'm a sucker for teen rom-com movies and I like stories relating to the same category too. So if you know of any of these or have one yourself, leave me a link in the comments and I'll check it out :)
