Seriously, why do boys do this?

Well okay, so it's not all boys but most of the boys I've come across have done this. They tell you they like you at the worst possible time and when you tell them you don't like them they either go awol or they keep replying but they're super blunt. Why? WHY?

I broke up with my boyfriend yesterday so my mood had been up and mainly down. Another boy I've known for a while now told me today that he likes me. I think it's sweet and all but he knows I've just come out of a relationship.



I told him I think he's sweet but I don't like him and his reply made me want to punch him. He replied "K." K? K? WHAT DOES K MEAN? I know what it means. Conversation killer. Not impressed at all. I've been speaking to him but all his replies are short, like to the point I have no idea what to say to him. Well guess what?



Done with everything. I shouldn't say it's just boys though. I mean girls do it too, right? It's just girls are way more mature about it. For fuck sake can someone push me off a cliff now?
