5SOS groupwrite anyone?

So you guys all get to blame my new Ashton feels for this, but I got this crazy idea. I don’t think I’ve seen very many, or any, 5SOS groupwrites, so I was wondering if maybe anybody wanted to do one? All mine are just wrapping up, so I’m finally ready to start doing some again!

So, here is my scheme. The boys are on a new singing competition similar to The Voice, but in this show each judge (the lads) have a team of about five hopefuls, who they pick in blind auditions. They then whittle this down to one person over the course of four weeks. Every week all five singers from a team would perform and based of the performances the judge sends one of his singers home until only one remains. Then there is a second half to the competition where the five judges (the lads) have one month to train their team member, and then they come back and perform duets and Australia chooses the winner, sending one pair home every week until the finale.

I know that’s a lot, and if you have any questions feel free to comment and I’ll make sure and clear things up for you. I will also be going into a better explanation for the authors when they’re selected, this is just a very very brief summary because I don’t want to give too much away
But anywho, this could either be longer or shorter depending on if the authors want to show the month the two are living together or not. And just a side note YOUR CHARACTER DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A GIRL. If you want Calum to develop a bromance with his teammate, you can totally do that. Or if you want to do a slash, go for it, I’m letting the character be pretty freed up for this one. But I am hoping for there to be quite a bit of drama, because we all know what an addict I am to it, so some possible storylines would be like this: (Note, these are just ideas, don’t feel like you have to pick one)

1. One of the boys is madly in love with his team member, keeping them until the very end just because he wants to spend time with them, but his team member likes another judge/ cannot STAND their judge and maybe even tries to switch teams behind their judges back

2. One of the judges picks one of his contestants hearing the voice of an angel, but he/she is very unattractive, but they are so good the judge simply cannot send them home. As the competition goes on the contestant’s personality shows the judge how wrong they were about the contestant, so they fall in love/ become inseparable friends

3. Two contestants audition together, but only one is kept/ they are split up so they become depressed and hate their judges for it

4. One of the contestants is crazy about their judge, like, he’s their idol or something, but then they are a complete dick when training them, and it causes the contestant to loathe their judge with a passion so they fight all the time, but have to smile and hold everything together when performing (this could also possibly be combined with one or three)

5. One of the contestants sleeps with two or more of the judges and causes drama to break out among them (this could maybe even be with one of the extras who will be getting kicked off)

So yeah, those are just some ideas.

So, now the part you all really want to know, how to get in on this bad boy! So, I hate going off time zones because I know people work and have school and normal people sleep, so I’m going to steal from my buddy Maddi and you have to write me a golden message. I will be waiting a day or so to make sure everyone gets a chance to send me one of these, but here is what you do.

1. Title it “group write” or “I saw your blog” or something

2. write one reason why you really would like to do this

3. Any title ideas, because I have none (both the show and the story)

4. write a list of which of the lads you would like in order

5. Give me a small blurb about your character, anything you have, along with what the song they’d audition with would be. Also, if you have any thoughts at all on a storyline, submit them here

Here’s an example because sometimes I make no sense:

I want to do this because Ashlee is my favorite author on mibba and she’s cool

um, "Oh That Voice!" and... that's it.

Anastasia Gale is an indie type singer, having picked up her sound from listening to a lot of American music. She would audition with Miike Snow’s “The Rabbit” or AWOLNATION’s “Sail”. She is pretty odd, and has never really been good at interacting with other people, seeing as she was homeschooled. She’s not shy, just really weird and kind of out there, and can be a bit of a sassy little bitch when she wants. She doesn’t make friends easily, but when she does, she’s is completely loyal to them

I was thinking perhaps her storyline could be something along the lines of one/three and she just is not a fan of her judge.
