So I was just scrolling through tumblr when I came across this post. Pretty much the post stated that "If a person owns an iPhone or an iPad or other electronic device, they shouldn't be on welfare" and it PISSED ME OFF. I'm 17 years old and my SINGLE mother is BLIND and BED RIDDEN. I have an iPhone, paid for by my aunt, and all my electronics have been gifts. So, how can this post be "accurate" if they don't know the real story? Some people are fucking judgemental assholes. If a kid works hard every month to pay for a cellphone, who are they to tell them that their family shouldn't be on food stamps because they have a cellphone?
I'm sorry I'm just really annoyed.
