Silent Readers Vs. Comments

I don't know which I like less at this point: The people who don't comment or the people who leave comments that don't help me. I swear to God, comments that are just "update soon" frustrate me because they tell me nothing. And a lot of you are going to say to appreciate those but no. I'm not going to. They don't help. They also don't prove the story is good because the most horrid stories on here will have more comments than anything else. Likewise, a silent reader is extremely unhelpful because I don't even know if they're actually reading or they just clicked the first chapter and backspaced. You talk about rude authors but hell, guys, some of us are getting nothing we can use and therefore are unable to improve our writing. In which case Mibba isn't helping at all. This site has more feedback problems than any others I've been on. It makes me wish my fandoms were as popular on other sites where people actually get feedback as opposed to, "Oh, you're not getting comments? You're not allowed to be upset."
