pride | christmas | elderly people

My grandparents are so awesome. My grandma called this morning and said "Merry Christmas. Did those assholes get you anything good?" She knows that my dad and I don't get along, and my stepmom definitely doesn't like me, but whatever. It was hilarious.
I screwed up my back somehow. My dad says tailbone, stepmom says sciatic nerve. I just hate not being able to sit without it hurting. I blame my old age. 17 is ancient, right?

CHRISTMAAAAAS. Happy Christmas to y'all!
Okay, I was kinda sad about my gift. It was money. I wanted to get like, boxes! And rip 'em open and think, "Wow, look at this, how thoughtful." I did get some really awesome gloves. I'm grateful, don't get me wrong, but I wish it had been some silly little gifts.
My mom's side of the family is doing a Secret Santa sorta thing. We all know who has who, but whatever. I have my grandma. I bought her a nightgown she wanted, a retro calendar thing, a Starbucks cup, and a thong as a joke. It's ridiculous and awesome. I think she'll laugh.

Pride, dude. Weird stuff. I was looking at some old poems and I'm still kinda proud. It was just a weird thing for me, as a person with incredibly low self-esteem. But good. Really good.

I FINALLY get my new glasses tomorrow. The pair I'm currently wearing have cut my nose so bad that I have a scar. ;__; My new pair is adorable. I'll post a picture!!
Anyhoo, how's everyone? Christmas, old folks, pride? Tell Auntie Tori about it.
