New Year's promises

I'm making a few promises to myself that I'm going to try and keep in the New Year. I always make them and I never keep them so this year I'm going to try to make slightly different ones to see if it makes any difference.
I promise that that was the last time I smoke this year and I promise to not buy any more.
I promise to be out of my horrific flat and be living somewhere better. I promise to clean this place a lot more.
I promise to have some kind of plan to my life and financial situation. I want to have implemented some of this by May at the latest.
I promise to feel better about myself. Whether it's by loosing weight or sorting my head out or hopefully both.
I promise to treat Jimmy better, not everything is his fault.
I promise to make better friends. Ones that don't just appear when they want something or when I post on Facebook.
