Lost and Confused

In my last blog, (which can be found here) I posted my New Year’s Resolutions, a lot of which included my writing. I vowed to write more. I joined a new writing site and tried to start coming up with new stories and ideas. But so far I haven’t been holding true. I have yet to post a thing on the new site. I haven’t started my own blog yet because I haven’t really come up with anything to blog about. I haven’t been updating my current stories either (all this time off from school too. Very disappointed in myself). I keep trying to get going on writing, including coming up with new story ideas for my new site but every time I start I begin losing inspiration. I have a few ideas for stories, but so far it’s been a no-go for me, even with updating. For days I would tell myself that I would use my free time to write. It never happened. I’d find myself wrapped up with something else. I always carry a small notebook and pen with me, but I never got the chance to write anything down. I started a short story once about a week ago but I have yet to finish it. A book I’m reading has gotten me really inspired to write something magical and elegant (the book is The Night Circus. Erin Morgenstern’s writing style is utterly fantastic) but I can’t find a good subject and plot to write about.

I have lost inspiration and it saddens me. I suppose I shouldn’t go looking for inspiration but should wait for it to come. For now I should work on my already started stories. But there is also the matter of the blog. There are thousands of topics I could write about, or I could just me a general blogger. Some topics that interest me are running and—of course—writing. I also have no clue where to go to start my blog. It is a work in progress. For now I shall try to post a weekly blog on Mibba. But I would love suggestions and advice about what I should do for either blog or stories! And if you guys want info about my new site then go to my profile. Keep in touch, Mibbians!
