I've been working on this story for a while now and have decided to post the first chapter in a hope that others will find some interest in it.
It's called Hold Your Tongue and involves a young woman attending St. Andrews university after taking part in a high school shooting in her hometown when she was in her final year. At uni, she is instantly intrigued with, and in awe of, a serial killer in the area who leaves the victims holding their severed tongues. She feels the need to find whoever is doing this because, just maybe, she will find someone who understands her. That is unless they get to her first.
It's quite a dark story, and possibly disturbing to some people.
