So. This happened today, and I was showing the valentines to my dad and he laughed with me about how horrible there were and how young the boys i say boys they're all older than me look, and then he got serious and said, "Isn't it great how they've grown, not only socially but musically?"
And I was like, "...Yeah it is."
And he didn't make fun of me for One Direction. He agrees that their music has gotten better (as in more thoughtful, that's what we like in music) and it's just like. Wow.
'Cause everyone else is mocking me, and there's my dad, accepting it and discussing it. Like a boss. He's always been cool about my music tastes, though. Although he does still seem hesitant to accept the Cobra Starship thing. But have you ever listened to them? Not really dad music.
So that's all. Just wanted to brag about how cool my dad is.
