Does he like me?

So Mibba there's this guy(isn't there always?) in my Teachers for Tomorrow class. Let me just say that he is a junior and the only boy in that class, he's very nice and as straight as an arrow as far as I can tell. We get along great together and have a lot in common, we both want to be teachers(most likely history teachers at that), we get each other's jokes, we both have chicken scratch for hand writing, plus some other things.

Anyways I finally managed to give him my number today and we spent a few hours texting each other then he told me he was about to take a nap and I guess he forgot because he sent me a text a few hours later saying he was sorry and that he was upset because now he missed out on time we could have spent talking to each other.

Mibba, I just want to know, is he interested in me? I'm not so petty as to be bother by the fact that I'm older than him, but I can just never tell if a guy likes like me or if he's likes me. I'm use to being seen as the best friend or sibling so I don't want to be to forward/blunt (like I've been known to be) but I don't want to stumble around blindly.

Any advice guys?
